Customization for SaaS POS Application
We are seeking a skilled and experienced freelancer to assist with customizing our SaaS POS (Point of Sale) application. The aim of this project is to enhance the functionality of our application by implementing the following customizations, which has 5 parts:
1. Sales Tax Report Export Format
We need to create a specific input and output format for the sales tax report that adheres to the requirements of the Maldives tax setup. This customization will enable us to generate accurate and compliant sales tax reports for the Maldives market. It is essential to ensure that this customization does not impact the default input and output tax format for other countries, which should remain unchanged.

In output tax template, Initial page is for those who have provided and Others sheet is for walk in customers and customers who haven’t provided TIN number.
2. Invoice Template and Plastic Bag Fee Collection (Priority)
2. Plastic Bag Fees: Maldives Tax Authorities require to collect plastic bag fees. The following records should be maintained in the reports section for Plastic Bag fees. The plastic bag fee should be added to invoices in the following format. Cashier should have option to set number of plastic bags to be sold or given free. (even if given free, it needs to be paid to MIRA)
1. Details of plastic bags purchased. (There should be a default item customer can set as plastic bag in settings. So, it will be easy to buy plastic bags from suppliers like any other item)
2. Details of plastic bags sold. (Number of plastic sold along with items)
3. Details of plastic bags damaged. (Through stock adjustment of plastic bag item)
Those 3 info should be downloadable in reports for desired reporting periods
For 2, these info should be visible
3. For Stripe
1. User friendly interface to manage subscriptions.
2. Auto renewal subscriptions using stripe. Use webhooks and api
3. Retry charge if payment failed, send notification of payment failure via email to customer. (manage retry intervals)
4. Top banner when payment failed.
4. For Offline Payment Methods
1. Ability to upload payment receipt when subscribing to a plan.
2. Instead of buying a plan every month, customers can just go to the subscriptions section and upload bank receipt for the subscription to renew.
3. Once a customer uploads bank receipt, automatically extend the subscription for 12 hours until receipt is approved by superadmin. Once superadmin approves receipt, the subscription is extended by subscription time. (eg. Extend by 30 days if monthly plan.)
4. Top banner when expired subscription and require receipt upload for subscription extension.
