I am looking for a Drupal expert to build a module that is currently absent in Drupal 5. This module should have the functionality of the save option when filtering by location on google base. Let me explain.
I am working on a site using Drupal 5. I have created 100+ categories and each category has a page view. Each of the page views has the same exposed filter (city in my case). Every time I click on a category, it shows me all the entries for that category entered by users. In order for me to see what's in my area I need to filter by location. So I enter my location in the exposed filter, submit and filtering is performed.
This is what can be currently done. Now this is what the module should be able to do. Say I click on the housing category and then filter by houston. I would like houston saved so that if I click on a different category say jobs then automatic filtering is performed on jobs and the view is only for jobs in Houston. This automatic filtering should apply for any categories I click on next. Basically the module saves the last term entered in the exposed filter and performs automatic filtering using that term every time a user clicks on a category. Without this functionality, every time I click on a category I would have to enter a term in the exposed filter and submit to see the results.
Please have a look at [url removed, login to view] to have a good understanding of what I am looking for. Click on personals say, filter by location, save the location. Then click on housing and the results are already filtered by the location entered before.
