PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING!
There are 5 current open projects for hihcorp.com.
1.) Investor Resources Section
Please see [url removed, login to view] to understand scope.
Project I. ($160) Simple Content Management System (may use freeware or other available code).
Articles Section. We need the ability for a non-savvy HTML user to post articles to our articles section. The user should be able to copy and paste the article into a back-end page with a standard format in a 2x2 table.
Date of Article Article Title
Publisher of article and/or source
Main Article Body with a preset CSS style.
The form would then automatically create a page with a standard name, i.e. art_1_date.htm.
A link to the new article will be placed in a Searchable Article index that will appear both on the “Dashboard” page and the “Articles” home page like the one seen. However, the Article Title will be displayed, not the generic link.
Article posting section should have the following functionality.
Choose an article category: i.e. Investing, Home Buying, etc. see the link above for the categories.
When an article is added to a category the doc count i.e. Investing (0), should automatically update reflecting the number of articles in that category.
Article Title: Text Field
Article Date: DateField
Author/Publisher: Text Field
Article Body: Text Field
Store all info in MySQL DB.
Allow the backend user to see a list of all the articles by category.
User should be able to;
Delete or Edit any article.
In addition the user may select up to 2 articles to be a “Featured Article”. Just a check box. The featured articles will be displayed on the DashBoard page with just a 200 character intro and the Title linked to the article.
Some nice addons would be … printer-friendly button on each article and email to a friend button.
Project II. ($125)
Please see the link above to the DashBoard (or overview) page.
We need a back-end page to update news feeds which will be displayed on the DashBoard page and the News Main page.
The back-end user will have the following functionality;
News Feed Source: i.e. New York Times
Multiple Feed? Yes or No
If Yes then ignore Next “Title of Feed”, If no then allow user to title the feed.
Title of Feed: Text Box i.e. “NY investors turn parking lots into goldmines”
Source of RSS feed: this will be a link to the feed.
The News Main page section on the front end should have a top section displaying 15 feeds mixed from all the sources. There should also be a drop down menu enabling them to choose and individual source.
The Dashboard section, see current page, should look just like that with the drop down menu built into the bubble.
Project III. DashBoard ($100)
The dashboard should look like it does now with just a snippet from each section. The page must be dynamically updated for both the articles and news feeds.
Please contact JP Quintana – 530-848-0142 to discuss.
Project IV. ($200) Login and Admin System with global messaging and private messaging features.
Use existing login system to create a backend investor page that has the following components;
Real Estate Project Updates. (we have investors that need to be updated as to the status of our construction projects. So we need to be able to quickly post these updates from a back-end page).
- Allows front-end user to subscribe to receive updates of various real estate development projects (they choose the project to keep apprised of)
- Allows back-end user to create a project which is basically a spot for pictures on the left hand side, a title of the project, and a section where project messages can be updated almost like a forum.
- Front-end user sees a place for private messages.
- Global messaging system allows back-end user to send a message to one, many, or all front-end users.
- Front-end user receives this update upon logging in or by email if they choose.
Newsletters. Simple newsletter opt-in. Back-end user creates newsletter and posts it. Newsletter is displayed to investors when they login.
A. User can login in from any page. Pages can be secured by adding a simple php code at the top of the page to call session management.
B. Upon logging in the user will see a “dashboard” with summary. A snippet of the newsletter, in a bubble below they see the latest project update.
