We area real estate office that is looking to bring our agent referral system online. It is very simple system and more like a small database. Here is what we need.
1) The database will be updated once per month (maybe more), We keep track of all the agent referral amounts in Excel spreadsheet format. Offices have anywhere from 1 - 100 agents on average.
2) We have a few offices and agents probably don't want others to know how much they made. Would need a way when an agent signs up, we could add them. Thinking Name, Email, Real Estate License # (BK293811 sample format), List off offices (and way to add more (prefer drop down) Phone #, and password or a way to generate a password for the new user. When save is clicked, it then emails them.
3) When we add the monthly payouts to the database, we would like to separate them into offices So each user is assigned to an office. This is because each office is calculated once a month and put in Excel. This Excel file is then currently being emailed to the office manager or admin and they send it via email to the agents.
4) The back end / control panel. Option to add new or remove office, add / remove an agent from those offices and then a spot under each office that is in the system to upload the excel file. When the excel file is uploaded, it will then pull the data from the spreadsheet and add it to the agents from that office. Obviously mistakes happen etc, so would be nice to have a backend edit button so we can modify the data instead of having to upload a whole new spreadsheet. Not a huge deal though. Also the spreadsheet doesn't contain a date. We can either add a column for it (currently it is ###) or better yet, we can select the Month/Year, click browse and select the file to upload and then click upload. This will then have January 2017, Feb 2017 etc.
That's pretty much it. Open to suggestions and features. The basic idea is the controller logs in the backend each month and uploads the new excel file. Then at anytime the agents can login to the system and see there payouts broken down into months and if possible total.
I have attached out excel file that we would upload each month. We would have one for each office. Sounds more complicated then it actually is.. Just trying to explain everything> Looking to complete ASAP please.
