I have created a website with wordpress using Custon Tipe Post and Advance Custom Field and I need to develop a simple function. The function or snipet must verify the date data of an additional field stored in the database with Advance Custom Field, this data (date) must be verified at least twice a day the date for this I guess it would be best to use the Wordpress natural cron would be the most appropriate, once the date is consulted, you should compare it with the server's current date, of course by adjusting to Venezuela's time. Conditional of the Snipet or Function: This function should only be applied or executed if the Custon Tipe Post is in a specific category (X). If the Date stored in the added field is already (equals) or already passes (is greater than) automatically the custon type post must be changed from category to a new one (Y) / (removing the current category and labeling it in the specified category) (Y) ). To explain it in another way IF THE DATE SELECTED ALREADY ARRIVES, THE FUNCTION MUST CHANGE THE CATEGORY POST. If the stored Date has not yet arrived (it is less than the current one), no change is made. For someone with experience in wordpress, php and functions this can be very easy to do.
