I'm building a stock photo website using PHP as the framework. Each image has two versions (lo-res and hi-res) and want to securely store all the high-resolution photos on a google drive which can store 100TB of photos organized into folders and subfolders most cost-effectively. Hi-res photos are only made available after payment and stored on a google drive.
We need to build a method or API which will map the lo-res image to the hi-res image URL via google drive api and send the user a download link upon successful transaction.
On the server, the lo-res images are stored in a S3 bucket on Amazon i.e.
/images/sports/baseball/design1/[url removed, login to view]
On google drive, it would be same except i.e. .../[url removed, login to view]
I believe this method can be used:
[url removed, login to view]
Please tell me your experience with google drive api and your plan to create a method for this project.
