Have a need for a programming team that knows Mailchimp extremely well. If you have knowledge also of Suite CRM, that will be a plus. We have a team we are working with, that created an interface between Suite CRM contact management software and the Mailchimp email platform. I need a team to either take over or work with them to get our drip email campaigns functioning properly.
Below is a description of the status of this project currently. Please review it carefully. We need some testing done and modifications/additions that we will go over with you in a direct email.
We currently have a working interface between Suite CRM and MailChimp. When a new lead is entered into Suite, manually or electronically, based on certain parameters, those leads are automatically sent to MailChimp and an appropriate Startup campaign is launched. There are currently 4 Startup campaigns; Purchase, VA Purchase, Refinance, VA Refinance. A different “Deck” runs over a 24 day period for each loan type. The data transmitted includes 2 custom fields; Client Type and VA Status that determine what drip campaign is started. Client Type is a drop down with Home Purchase or Refinance as choices. VA Status is a dropdown with Yes or No as choices.
When the Startup campaign runs its full 24 days, it automatically rolls over to a generic Monthly campaign (all four Startup campaigns roll to a single Monthly campaign). An additional field was added to Suite to break up when the emails are sent out. The field in Suite is Week. It is automatically populated based on the date and is assigned a number 1 to 5 which gets delivered with the lead to Mailchimp. Instead of sending all monthly emails same day to everyone, this breaks it up to five specific dates each month.
The Monthly campaign we have was broken into 12 separate email messages, based on the month it currently is (IE January, February, etc) so everyone gets the January message in January, everyone gets the December message in December (Happy Holidays in December, Happy 4th of July in July for example). The system is set to send the Monthly campaign for one full year before terminating. Although there are five emails for each month (different message for Week 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5) scripting was added so only 12 templates need to be updated if a change is made. There is also scripting that was added to allow changes to text and graphics globally in all the email messages.
Opt Out interface – the developers built a two-way connection between Suite and MailChimp for opting out. If someone receives an email from MailChimp and clicks on the Opt Out link, it opts them out in Chimp and also tags the Opt Out checkbox in Suite CRM. Conversely if you check the Opt Out box in Suite CRM, it halts all campaigns and opts them out in Mailchimp as well.
This is not a learning session and will not be paid hourly. Do not apply for this job if you are not already an EXPERT with MailChimp. Let us know your level of experience with Suite CRM, if any, as well.
