As the director of our In-House SEO Team, I am searching for the right person to spearhead our needs for IT and Web development.
We are a national insurance call-center with over 100 developed lead generating insurance web properties. Our call center relies upon the lead generation efforts of our websites, and we would like for the appropriate candidate to grow with us in this exciting stage of our organization’s development!
You will find below a few of the areas that we will most need assistance with on a recurring basis. We are looking for someone who can work full-time, lives in the United States, speaks native English and is available on demand.
If something goes wrong with any of our websites, we need someone who is going to be there for us in real time, and as such, we want/need someone who is looking to build a career!
WordPress Hosting/CDN- All of our web properties are built upon the WordPress platform, and for hosting we use one of the most popular hosts specific to WordPress, in addition to CDN’s. A strong solid expertise in “WordPress Hosting” and CDN’s is of paramount importance.
General WordPress - The ideal candidate should have an expert level of experience with the WordPress platform, including best practices for removing plug-ins, editing code to our specifications, WP security, and updating the entire network of websites when there is a WordPress update.
Landing Pages – We handle the design of our own custom landing pages, and it would be a great additional resource if we had an IT professional who was also well versed in lead generation landing pages.
Lead Forms – We need our top candidate to be able to create custom lead forms that integrate with the WordPress platform, and other 3rd party add-on technologies.
On-Page Technical SEO – To the extent that it applies to the responsibilities of the IT/Web Dev position, an advanced knowledge of technical SEO, specific to On-Page is a requirement for this position. The most important aspect that we would be concerned about is Site Speed and Mobile Responsiveness.
Call Routing – Due to the volume of inbound phone calls that we receive, our ideal candidate would have great experience in click to call, pay per call, call trees and the industry best practices that accompany these technologies.
