I am in the process of creating an automated website to handle multiple event registrations and collect payment for road races, parties etc. For ease of understanding the idea, I would like the website to mimic [login to view URL] (almost exactly)
The concept is an organizer would be able to go on the website, create an account and be greeted with their personal dashboard. In the dashboard, they will be able to upload specific information about the event details (about the event, sub events, cost of registration, multiple fees, additional questions) that would generated in the front end for the patrons to see and make edits in the future if possible. The dashboard will also show a summary of total participants register, revenue collected, teams, persons in team, etc. (Data Mining)
Each event is individual and would be different based on the organizers.
The user experience*
The homepage is similar to [login to view URL] where persons can search for events and a list of current live events that were posted in a neat simple format and a place a featured events on the side.
The person when they find their event will be greeted with the event homepage and will be able to register inputting the information requested by the organizer and be able to pay via credit card, paypal or by promo code.
We will be charging a small processing service fee as compensation.
At the end, the organiser would be able to extract all information of the registered participants in an excel sheet. It is mandatory that the developer chosen creates the website that would be easily understood by another local developer for updates.
The site is exactly like [login to view URL] and attached is an example of the front end of an event we created ( [login to view URL] ). I look forward to speaking with you further and advise that you check it out to see further.
