i need a great coder who can create a small plugin for wordpress 2.5 to 2.6 versions
basically what i need is a plugin that will allow me to add more information when creating a new category and also edit the existing ones with the new fields.. [checkout the website [url removed, login to view] to get an idea of the categories [url removed, login to view] on right hand side ]
we have used categories to show all the different mission projects around the world... so each project holds post and articles of the work they do... it should also show their contact details and so forth... so the idea is that every category is a unique page for that particular project. [ mini blogger page]
the information it currently allows is the name of the cat, the slug and the description
what i need it to add is fields of the following
the other thing the plugin must do is include that information at the top part of the category pages along with the title of the category.
the information must be displayed with breaks for every field and if possible html enabled so that you can format to a degree and emails and links can be active not just text. if possible and easy for the ability or option to present more than just 1 field for telephones or emails... in case there is more than 1 person in charge of that project/ category
this is a voluntary project and lots of time has been taken for free so help would be greatly appreciated.
