osTickect - Customer Field - 'Customer'

I have a clean installation of osTicket and require the following,
- Addition of a custom field 'Customer'
- The custom field needs to be displayed on New Ticket, Edit Ticket, on the tickets summary tab after 'Date' and before 'Subject'
- The 'Customer' field is not mandatory
- The tickets summary tab should be able to be sorted by 'Customer'
- The 'Customer' field should be a prepopulated dropdown box
- There needs to be an area to add / edit / delete 'customers' so they appear in 'Customer' list
When displaying / viewing / editing / new tickets the 'Customer' field should be the first field.
