Perl and PHP

Write a program in Perl that can do encryption and decryption of text. An example of encryption is that "a" becomes "z", and "b" becomes "y" and so on, or whatever shifting algorithm you can devise. The input file is any readable text file that is to be encrypted. When this input file is run against the encryption program, it encrypts the file with your encryption algorithm and saves the processed file to an encrypted file with same file name but with an extension of ".enc". When you run the decryption program, it reads the encrypted file and decrypts (or reverses) it and saves it to same filename but with an extension of ".dec" which stands for decrypted file. For example: The given input file is [login to view URL] To run the encryption program: ./[login to view URL] [login to view URL] Its output will be: [login to view URL] To run the decryption program: ./[login to view URL] [login to view URL] Its output will be: [login to view URL] If you view the content of [login to view URL], it is not understandable. If you view the content of the [login to view URL], it should be the same as the [login to view URL] Also; Create a functional web program written in PHP that has a business purpose. For example: you might write a program to manage a buisnessinventory, or a program to manage college course schedules. Save the program in your public_html folder on the UISACAD5 server. The program should be accessible using the address [login to view URL]~netid/[login to view URL] Your web program must utilize a database (data must be read from and written to a database). The program should be capable of reading data from a user, and then storing the data in a database. It should also be capable of displaying the data stored. When you are done, leave the program in your public_html directory, upload your source code for this asssignment here. Make sure that your code is documented (includes comments). Notes: -There is no need to include a comment in every line of your code. Keep your project and documentation simple. -You may use any of the code provided in [login to view URL] (see Week 14 lecture for details) However you must include a comment wherever you use that code stating that you used my code. -For full credit your program must use a database, it must be able to display the saved data, and users must be able to add additional data records. -I will give extra credit (up to 10% extra on the Project) if your program is capable of allowing users to edit or change the stored data and then save it in the database again. -If you get a "Forbidden" or "permission denied" error when accessing your web page try changing the permissions on the files to be readable by all: chmod a+r * -I suggest you change your MySQL password so it is different from your regular password.
