We are running an A2Billing + Asterisk server and want to use Linphone as a softphone. The registration and provisioning of Linphone must happen with SMS verification. Linphone has existing API code for that. The task is to create the API on the server side in A2Billing. There are 5 API functions that need to be implemented in PHP. Also the communication with the SMS provider needs to be implemented. Twilio provides php code for that [login to view URL] We will provide Examples of the Linphone API calls and answers messages. A2 Billing has an existing SOAP interface which provides already some functionality such as creation of user accounts with DID and SIP account. So one can adapt some code for the new Linphone API. [login to view URL] Verification should work as following: The user enters his phone number in Linphone Linphone contacts the A2Billing API with phone number A2Billing API checks whether the number is already associated with an account. If not a user account, DID phone number record and SIP account is created. A2Billling sends the verification code to the SMS provider The user receives the SMS message with the code and enters the code in Linphone Linphone sends phone number and verification code to A2Billing API A2Billing Server looks up the account associated with the verification code and the phone number and returns login details to Linphone

I would look to implement the following: Laravel API PHP Server to use as a proxy between Linphone, Asterisk and a2Billing I have previous experience with providing a call center registration software that was built in Asterisk so I would look to implement it the same way. I would also recommend using TxtSync for the SMS as they are a lot cheaper than Twilio.
