you are expert on PHP dynamic code instrumentation (no manual code change, or very low manual code changes) to be able to debug or extend PHP code with instrumented code?
The target is to measure execution times of each defined step in the code.
if so, we search you to help us to narrow down different issues with different environments (e.g. joomla, wordpress, typo3)
you have to be deep expert in instrumentation
also you will have to show us a demo on executing it
as a sample task we want to solve this
please provide me a proposal for instrumenting wordpress
- trace the full execution time of the php code
- to trace intermediate php calls at least at wordpress core and on each plugin level
- it has to include disk access time
- SQL execution times
- monitoring have to be configured to be able to trace one user operation (e.g. one full page load incl. all intermediate http-requests)
- ideally network access time (option)
means your instrumented code needs to report in the case of wordpress:
the time the full call of a page or post will take. E.g. you call the page [login to view URL]
your dynamic instrumented code shall deliver a report with following times
Δt_totalPhpExectime == Δt_databaseAccessTime + Δt_diskAccessTime + Δt_wpHookAccessTimes + Δt_wpPluginExecTimes + Δt_others
