Hi glivv, I noticed your profile and would like to offer you my project.
I need help with modification of a Ninjatrader indicator which plots Fibonacci lines from various swing points.
When there is a a 1.618 or a 1.414 line (more powerful), it plots a blue dash line. Other less powerful numbers (1.272, 1.128, 0.886, etc.) are black dash lines. When there is a confluence of the 1.618 and 1.414 lines from different swing points, a large red or blue dot will plot on the chart.
1) I want the option to choose which and how many confluence signals before a chart plot appears. I wanted to add the following options:
Confluence number - options of 1,2,3, or 4 (How many confluence lines I want before a plot appears on chart)
Confluence 1 Fib lines -options of 1.618, 1.414, 1.272, 1.128, 0.886, 0.786, or 0.618.
Any confluence of lines up to "X" will result in a plot on the chart. For example, if I select "1.618", only 1.618 will result in plot, if I select "1.414", either 1.618 or 1.414 will result in plot, if I select "1.272", either 1.618, 1.414, or 1.272 will result in plot, etc. The lower the number selected, the greater number of lines can be used for the plot.
Confluence 2 Fib lines (if Confluence number = 2) - same options as above. For example, if Confluence number = 2 and Confluence 1 Fib lines = 1.414 and Confluence 2 Fib lines = 1.414, any combination of two 1.618/1.414 will result in a chart plot.
Confluence 3 Fib lines (if Confluence number = 3) - same options as above.
Confluence 4 Fib lines (if Confluence number =4) - same options as above
2) I want the red and blue dots which are plotted on the chart to be exposed for use in an automated strategy or other indicators which can recall the values.
3) I want the ability to backtest this indicator with large amount of days loaded on the chart. As of now, the indicator changes tick by tick (calculate on bar close = false), but I want an option to show all values/lines/plots if calculate on bar close = true.
4) Add an e-mail alert if there is any plot on the chart.
Thank you for your consideration!
