Project Management Sheet

I have an excel workbook that I need help achieving an update option to it. I have a sheet (CO - ) that sends data to another sheet (Contract_Summary) based on 3 Status options chosen (3 Command Buttons). Example if I select "price only" status then it sends certain data from sheet (CO -) to sheet (Contract_Summary) next available row. Now if I go back to the sheet (CO -) a few days later and select status "proceed with change order" or Change order not accepted" is sends data to (Contract_ Summary Sheet but creates a new event with the same contract number. What I want is for it to look for the contract name which is the filename of the (CO -) sheet and then update the status accordingly by overwriting the previous entry.
