Company currently uses custom webapp for all in-field home inspections with bootstrap admin overlay that combines all aspects of the job from inspectors, office staff, and housing authorities. Each person uses same webapp with different pages and actions available. Webapp currently works great, just have three small quality of life changes/fixes.
1.) webapp has search page with multiple filters such as name, location, inspection status, etc.
when first name is used for search, results are accurate, but when last name is added, or searched for alone, nothing is found. Possibly search syntax is missing few lines of code or not taking into account last name.
2.) when inspectors fill out inspection form on-site, one field they can fill out is "comments" at the end of inspection form. These comments are not being output on the generated PDF that can be downloaded by staff or housing authorities. A field needs to be added at the end of the generated PDF to output this information. The variable/call is there as it shows on some other pages, but is not utilized on the form.
3.) when the home inspection fails, staff see results and click a reschedule/re-inspection action button which pulls all data from failed inspection such as inspector, address, tenant, etc and automatically fills in the respective fields on new inspection creation page, with only the new updated re-inspection date added by staff. On the generated PDF form that inspector completes, inspection date shown on top of form is incorrectly outputting the initial failed inspection instead of the new updated date the re-inspection is completed/scheduled for. Most likely calling incorrect variable.
NOTICE: WEBAPP IS HOSTED ON AMAZON EC2 INSTANCE. ANY POTENTIAL BIDDERS MUST KNOW HOW TO SFTP INTO OUR EC2 INSTANCE WITH THE PEM/PPK FILE AND BE FAMILIAR WITH EC2 FILE STRUCTURE. I personally know how to sftp into our EC2 when small changes are needed but do not have the knowledge or want to have to instruct freelancer on every step of the sftp process. Sorry for having to include this, just had some hang-ups with past projects which took hours of my time before freelancer was able to sftp into server. Also, if your going to bid please possess at least decent English conversational skills for efficient communication that will save us both time and better get across exactly what needs to be completed.
Not exactly sure where the individual files are located in the file tree for these changes, but experienced freelancer should be able to find. Site is LIVE and in use on daily basis during all hours of the day, thus errors cannot be made when changing/adding code that will result in downtime.
Will setup escrow upon acceptance
