I have a product that is meant to be shared between multiple people over time and distance and I am looking for a way that I can add social engagement for Twitter, IG, Facebook, and possibly one more like google or Linkedin.
This project has these goals:
Create Social Sharing Process
- To allow a user to log in to our site with a social account> I have a social media login added to my WordPress site through Mini orange.
- To be able to show engagement with the product on their chosen platforms. To use social sharing and commenting to engage those who follow them with this product.
- To show this engagement on our platform (Website) through the mailer specific popup
Create a database for users and mailers to be tracked and linked.
Such engagement will be like a "check-in" type transaction, but this is engagement with a Unit of a product and not a location or service.
Create a backend application to process each mailer when it leaves and returns
For example. When the user will receive this reusable item they will log in to the website using social login or email address. They will choose a message to share if applicable and they will relate themselves somehow to that item before returning it to be later sent to another user and so on. For Example, when the user receives the item it has a name/number unique to that item. They will be able to "Check-in" to have received that item and it will be helpful to be able to craft a message and make a post on their feed to this regard. And to post this user interacted with the item and a location "City and State" where this person is located.
This will allow us to track the interactions with this individual serialized item over time and allow others to share their interactions with that item.
I need help with how to make these engagements and to see that is possible and how to achieve the most social benefit for this product using social platforms.
I currently have a Wordpress site and a VPS with code already started including a map integration and the front end code completed to 90%.
