My website is having trouble with what I beleive is an improper SSL integration. These are the issues:
1) The main issue is that when the user moves from a http page over to https (a shopping cart page) the browser will often (not always) hang for 10 seconds or so then kick the user back to the index page (in https). Like I said, it doesn't always happen, only about 70% of the time. If it doesn't kick you back to the index page it will show an error. You can see what this looks like in firefox on the attached [url removed, login to view] screenshot.
2) On the chance that you do get to the credit card order page there will be popups about the page containing unsecure items. Also, depending on the browser you may get errors about the certificate not being trusted or things like that. This certificate was issued by GoDaddy so I don't think there should be an issue with it. Also note that my site is not hosted on a GoDaddy server.
Further to point 2, when you try to navigate away from the https credit card page you will still be in https and every page you go to you will get a popup saying there are unsecure items. I want the environment to switch back to http once a user has navigated away from the https page.
I am in a hurry to get this done as it seems I have been delayed for so long already. My guess is that this is a simple project for anyone who is familiar with this kind of issue.
I will be selecting a bidder within hours of posting this project. If you bid please be available to start immediately.
