SVG images added via Safe SVG not showing on Frontend

I have Safe SVG plugin on my site, but after successfully uploading the images in the backend, they are not showing on the frontend when I attach them to pages. However, all jpg and PNG images are showing well on the front end. I think there is a security-related setting that is restricting .svg from showing. I, however, do not want the MIME type snippet to be added to my site though. I also need the GZip compression feature to be enabled on my server for image/svg+xml.
