This is a very straightforward project. I have a Client that has a LAMP site running on a single Cloud Server with PHP 5.3 and MySQL 5.5.61 that needs to be upgraded so that the whole site works with PHP version 7.1 and MySQL 5.7.
As their site is live, you will need to do this without affecting the live site until ready, and then also test once completed prior to going live to ensure the site is working perfectly with PHP 7.1 before going live. Once your testing is complete, you will need to upgrade PHP and MySQL on the Server and go live with the upgraded code.
Any outdated addons (e.g. SwiftMailer) that aren't compatible with PHP 7.1 will need to be upgraded to the latest version that supports PHP 7.1.
The site also incorporates a vBulletin forum version 4.1.12, so the vBulletin forum will also need to be upgraded from the current version to version 4.2.5 in order to work with PHP 7.1. The Client will provide the vBulletin files for you to do this upgrade.
The site is estimated to contain approximately 150 files although it may contain more.
You will have full SSH access to the Client's server.
It is very important that when the site goes live with the new version, that it works perfectly and that will be your responsibility. If there are any issues once the upgrade site goes live with PHP version 7.1 and MySQL version 5.7, it will be your responsibility to fix any issues remaining from the upgrade. Your job will not be done until any and all issues related to the upgrade are fixed and working correctly in the live version.
Client also needs an ongoing LAMP developer for this site, so if you do a good job, they Client will consider hiring you on an ongoing basis to continuously improve the site.
