Hi there! I'm interested in your project. As you may know since that you have some experience in this, the scraping for each site must be done independently from each other. This is because website's structures differ from one another, so adding one extra site means to add an extra scraper to the program. Let me tell you a bit about the idea. Programming language: Python + sqlite3 GUI. Tkinter / pyQt (Check for the aesthethics) Modules for make the scraping: Selenium (for sites that will render the data using js) or requests+lxml (for sites with static html pages) Do some paralellizing on this for making things faster. Database: Anything that it's compatible with your already existing website (SQL maybe so you can integrate that DB with your website's admin side perhaps. Deadline: This depends always on the problems that could arise and need to be solved. But we can have some minimum working prototype in 7-10 days. Once we have some basic understanding of the data then we can design the DB and the GUI. Maintenance: Scrapers should be mantained (changes in the site break them) so alerts need to be set upon this events (This is included in the initial price, the idea is to have some kind of long term working relationship, so support and good communication is a must) Well, if you're interested message me so we can talk more about some details, how can we set up milestones for the ongoing work and so on.
