MDI form with unlimited tabs which bring up broderless forms. Forms invoice and report are duplicated, other forms time-tracker, calendar/planner, price-list, tax exempt id's, and silk screens are only open once. A home button can be used to display statistics. A pin list for invoices, like a recently opened invoices, should be available to pin point relevant invoices to work tasks.
Database hosted at Host Gator which is next to our shopping cart database. This other database has products for auto-complete lists of products for the invoice and also for the price-list.
-=Invoice will have ability to load data for company as well as products and have a list of files from the specific record-set based on the organization. This requires iGrid listview replacement. Only used columns-rows and data should be printed to css HTML except for the company info which can include empty data. We also load products from past invoices as well as the company info(based on the organization record-set). Company info and order notes should be hideable to show a greater grid. It should be possible to pin the invoice to a list to monitor frequently.
-=reports will have the ability to load presets for visible columns, searchable fields and order statuses and have an option to include and exclude columns from the reports. Additionally, iGrid allows editing from the grid(which is the same grid used in the invoice) which means it should be possible to edit any field of an invoice except from the products. It should also be possible to rename an organization name for all applicable invoices, and be possible to show invoices by one organization and customer. Presets available in reports cover: Columns visible, Searchable Fields(of the invoice, excluding products), Order Types & Order Statuses, and a preset which covers all presets. Reports should have the ability to custom sort by two columns.
-=time-tracker is a grid which has invoice date-in on the left and month days on the top and shows invoices ascending or descending across the grid preferably on a grid which shows one month centered with one month before and after on each side. Actual data in the cell should be colored by certain criteria of order type and be bold if it is a rush order. As for what data is in the cell must have invoice number and not be much more than the month day column widths. Should be possible to scroll the months and see the invoices created as well as exclude results based on criteria of order type and order status.
-=price-list is a list of products from our shopping cart database organized by categories with product name and price which can be emailed or printed(with css html not yet available).
-=tax exempt id's is a list of tax exempt id's. Should be possible to organize each organization with their tax exempt id which will result with this ID being available to invoices.
-=silk screens is a list of silk screens not seen anywhere else and will have the ability to print(css html is not yet available).
-=calendar/planner is a calendar which shows orders based on invoice info like date-in, date-due and date-out. It should also show any notes made by the users.
Printing will be by generated CSS HTML files, through templates created, which are then sent to firefox/google chrome. We have two files for reports and invoices. An email should also be possible with attachment of either report, invoice, or price-list. We will need an export to csv for email addresses when we do a mass mail.
There is data to convert to database around 10k invoices. We will give a sample invoice to convert which should allow us to convert all our sales to database.
Order Statuses include: Quote, Ready, Ordering, Production, Returning, Credited, Delivered, Picked-up, Shipped, Canceled, and Refunded.
Payment Statuses include either Pending or Monthly.
