Hello. I offer to develop PHP script which reads RSS urls from one table, fetch data and extract data (using SimplePie lib, I used it in the past) to another table. Will use reactphp-curl to process several URLs in parallel (multithread). So will work very fast (will belimited your hosting speed only). Regards, Vladimir

A multi-threaded PHP solution could be accomplished either using 'popen()' to invoke multiple instances of the script - each instance operating on one or a subset of the RSS sources - or using the 'pthreads' library. The mysqli or PDO driver could be used for the database interface. The configuration file could be used to store the database parameters, the maximum allowed number of threads, and perhaps parameters for logging also - if you need a log-file. I have configured PHP CRON jobs for remote retrieval and database updates in the past. It should not take long, but I would like to allow time for testing, feedback and fine-tuning - hence the proposed time-frame. P.S. Technically, popen() would create another process rather than a separate thread, but if the solution was designed carefully I think this might not matter.
