Question: Will the Sinamics S120 be controlled via Profinet PROFIdrive (Telegram 1/20 using SINA_SPEED) with torque limit and flying restart, or do you prefer an analog speed reference? Also, should STO/brake circuits require PLC acknowledgment before start? Suggestion: Use a command/status/state pattern with an Auto/Manual arbitration FB per device (Mixer, Chopper, Pump): permissives matrix + queued commands, ensuring safe manual take-over without breaking the auto sequence. Build the cycle as an SCL state machine FB (phases: pre-wet, granulation, cure, discharge) with all timings and setpoints in versioned UDT recipes stored in retentive DBs. Drive control via DriveLib with adaptive speed (optionally bias by torque and/or Siwarex mass flow), controlled decel to discharge setpoint, and jerk-limited ramps to prevent torque spikes. HMI: clean Auto page with progress bar, RPM/torque/current and Start/Pause/Abort; device popups for manual; recipe editor with import/export; ISA-18.2 alarm classes and batch CSV logs.
