Title: Lead Developer — Multi-Tenant Django + React SaaS (Healthcare) We are a production multi-tenant SaaS platform in the healthcare space, built on Django and React, and we are looking for a senior lead developer to steer the engineering through to launch and beyond. Important: the application is already built, and we have a developer in place who knows the codebase and does the implementation. We are not looking for someone to rebuild it. We need a lead to direct that work: write and scope the tickets, manage the board, set and enforce PR and merge discipline, review the implementation, and be the person who can tell us "patch versus rebuild" with evidence rather than a guess. You will be hands-on in review and judgement, with a builder doing the bulk of the implementation under your direction. The core of the product is a rules-driven document-generation engine that must be correct every time, so engineering discipline and a focus on correctness matter more here than raw output. The stack: - Backend: Django, Django REST Framework, PostgreSQL, schema-per-tenant multi-tenancy (django-tenants), Celery and Redis - Frontend: React - Infrastructure: Heroku, Cloudflare, GitHub Actions CI/CD The immediate work: A defined set of targeted fixes to the document-generation engine, already scoped into clear, separately specified tickets. This first engagement is how we will both decide whether this becomes the ongoing lead role. To be considered, please answer these in your proposal. Generic proposals will not be reviewed: 1. Name one or two multi-tenant Django and React systems you have personally built, and walk me through the single hardest tenant-isolation or deployment problem you personally solved on one of them. What was the problem, what did you try, and what was the fix that held? 2. On those systems, was the architecture and tenant-isolation work done by you personally, or by a team you led? And if you take this on, will you be doing the reviews and direction yourself, or delegating to a team? 3. Your hourly rate and your availability. We value evidence and specifics over polish. We look forward to reading yours.

A Warm Hello! We are readily available to start working on this project ! We understand that the platform is already built and that you’re looking for a technical lead who can provide direction, review, accountability, and evidence-based decision making—not someone who comes in proposing unnecessary rewrites. We have led and supported multiple Django + React SaaS platforms where the primary challenge was maintaining correctness, scalability, and development velocity while protecting a complex production codebase. The healthcare domain’s emphasis on accuracy and auditability particularly resonates with our engineering approach. We would welcome the opportunity to review the current ticket set, architecture, and deployment process and discuss how we can help drive the platform through launch and beyond. Best regards, Ana

Hello, This role aligns well with my experience leading SaaS platforms built with Django, React, PostgreSQL, and multi-tenant architectures. I understand that you're not looking for another implementer—you need someone who can provide technical leadership, review code rigorously, maintain engineering discipline, and make evidence-based decisions on whether issues should be patched or redesigned. My approach is to first understand the existing architecture, document-generation workflows, tenant boundaries, CI/CD process, and current technical debt. From there, I create clear implementation tickets, define acceptance criteria, enforce PR standards, review code thoroughly, and ensure fixes are validated before release. I am comfortable working alongside an existing developer, providing technical direction while remaining hands-on in architecture reviews, code reviews, root-cause analysis, and release planning. I value correctness, maintainability, and predictable delivery, especially for healthcare and rules-driven systems where accuracy is critical. I'd be happy to discuss the current ticket backlog, document-generation engine challenges, and the engineering processes you want to strengthen. Looking forward to learning more about the platform.

Hi — Elias here from Miami. I see you're looking for a lead developer for a multi-tenant Django and React SaaS project in healthcare. This type of application needs to manage user roles and data isolation while ensuring compliance. What usually matters most here is scalability and maintainability. A common issue in systems like this is ensuring robust integrations with third-party services while managing complex workflows. The tricky part is balancing performance with security, especially in healthcare. My approach would involve structuring the application to prioritize clean architecture and modular components. This ensures features can be added or modified without major overhauls. I focus on using Django for backend API development, PostgreSQL for reliable data handling, and Redis for caching to enhance performance. I've worked on similar multi-tenant solutions that required careful attention to user permissions and data integrity. This experience helps me anticipate potential pitfalls early. A few questions to better understand the scope: Q1 – What specific user roles and permissions do you envision for this system? Q2 – Are there existing integrations with external APIs we should consider? Q3 – What are your scaling expectations as your user base grows? Happy to discuss details and suggest the best technical approach. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi, What stood out to me is that you're not looking for another implementation developer—you need someone who can provide technical leadership, enforce engineering discipline, and make evidence-based decisions on whether a problem requires a patch, refactor, or larger architectural change. I have extensive experience working with Django, Django REST Framework, PostgreSQL, React, Celery, Redis, CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and production SaaS applications. I am comfortable taking ownership of ticket scoping, backlog management, PR review processes, release discipline, and ensuring implementation quality before code reaches production. The document-generation engine is particularly interesting because correctness matters more than velocity. My approach would be to first understand the existing architecture, review the currently scoped tickets, identify risk areas, and establish clear review and testing criteria before implementation proceeds. Regarding your questions: * I would personally handle the technical reviews, architecture discussions, and engineering direction rather than delegating them. * Please share your preferred engagement model (part-time or ongoing lead role), and I can confirm availability accordingly. I would be glad to review the existing ticket set and provide feedback on the current implementation strategy. Looking forward to discussing the project.

Hi, this reads like a lead-review role on an already-running product, not a rebuild, and that is usually where disciplined engineering judgment matters most. The real risk is not feature velocity; it is silent correctness drift in a tenant-aware document pipeline, especially when fixes land through background processing and partial assumptions about data isolation. I usually structure this kind of engagement around codepath review, ticket scoping, merge discipline, and evidence-based decisions on whether a subsystem should be patched or replaced. I’ve done similar work in live Python products where the first step was understanding what could be stabilized in place versus what was creating recurring defects. The closest match in my past work is Custom Feature Development & Integration, where I stepped into an existing codebase, reviewed architecture, scoped changes, and tightened implementation quality with tests and handoff discipline. The bug localization project is also relevant because it reflects how I approach failure analysis: isolate patterns, measure them, then decide. Given your stack, I’d start by separating tenant-boundary checks, document rule evaluation, and async execution paths so review comments map to concrete failure domains. For a first pass, I can review the scoped tickets and sketch the highest-risk areas in the engine before implementation proceeds. Thanks, Hercules

Hi, I’ve led multiple multi-tenant Django and React systems, including a healthcare product that required strict compliance with HIPAA and other regulations. I understand the importance of having a dedicated lead developer who can focus on core product quality while delegating tasks to junior developers. I’ve worked with junior developers extensively, guiding them to deliver high-quality work. In one of my recent projects, we built a multi-tenant system with a document generation feature. We implemented a robust CI/CD pipeline with automated tests to ensure that new features didn’t break existing functionality. I also introduced a dedicated QA resource to further enhance product quality. With my extensive experience in both backend and frontend development, I can contribute as a full-stack developer when needed, rather than relying solely on separate resources. Let’s schedule a 10-minute introductory call to discuss your project in more detail and see if I’m the right fit for your needs. I’m eager to learn more about your exciting project. Best regards, Adil

Hi, Your requirement for a technical lead rather than an implementation developer is exactly how I read this engagement. The challenge here is not writing more code, but ensuring the existing codebase reaches launch quality through disciplined engineering, structured reviews, and evidence based decision making. I have worked on multi tenant SaaS platforms involving Django, PostgreSQL, React, Celery, Redis, role based access control, document workflows, and tenant isolated data models. In these projects, the most common failures were not implementation bugs but architectural drift, unclear ownership boundaries, inconsistent review standards, and technical debt accumulating faster than delivery. My approach is to establish clear ticket scopes, acceptance criteria, PR review standards, testing requirements, and release discipline while remaining hands on with architecture reviews and critical technical decisions. For this engagement, I would personally handle the review process, architecture assessment, ticket refinement, and implementation guidance. I am comfortable evaluating whether issues require targeted fixes or deeper refactoring based on code evidence, operational risk, and long term maintainability rather than assumptions. Best, Justin

Having personally built and led the development of multi-tenant Django and React systems, I have an intimate understanding of the unique challenges you face with tenant-isolation and deployment. In a recent project, the most challenging problem we encountered was ensuring that each tenant had distinct database schemas while maintaining consistent performance. Through rigorous testing, we identified and resolved issues related to performance degradation in these complex multi-tenant setups. All architectural designs and tenant-isolation work were overseen by me directly, instilling in me a deep understanding of the codebase similar to your existing developer. If given this opportunity, I will review and direct all implementation ensuring adherence to PR and merge discipline so that every code change gets evaluated with an eagle's eye. With my availability and hourly rate being flexible, your project will receive undivided attention for substantial forward momentum.

I get the situation here—you already have a working Django/React SaaS and the real risk is not building, but making sure changes don’t quietly break tenant boundaries or the document generation correctness. First I’d review the scoped tickets and reproduce failures in a clean tenant setup, then trace isolation issues across Django tenants, DRF queries, and Celery jobs. I’d tighten PR rules so nothing merges without tenant-aware tests, and add small regression fixtures around the document engine. Most issues in systems like this come from subtle shared-query or background-task leakage, so I’d focus there first. I’ve dealt with similar multi-tenant Django/React setups where isolation bugs only showed under load; one case was a Celery task using a global queryset instead of tenant-scoped managers, fixed by enforcing tenant context in middleware and task routing. I’d stay hands-on in reviews and direction. My hourly rate is $35/hr and I can start immediately with about 40+ hours per week.

Most failures in rules-driven document engines come from gaps in tenant context and missing end-to-end tests — the code can look correct, but background tasks or edge-case rules run in the wrong schema or without the exact inputs the rules expect. Practical approach: start with a 2–4 hour focused code & ticket audit to produce evidence-based "patch vs rebuild" recommendations, then convert each ticket into a clear acceptance test (unit + integration) that proves correctness. Enforce PR templates, size limits, required tests, and a CI gate that runs tenant-scoped scenarios before merge. Suggested stack/implementation details: keep your existing Django + django-tenants + DRF + React stack; add pytest/pytest-django, factory_boy, and Hypothesis for property tests on the generation rules, plus Celery task headers that explicitly carry tenant schema_name. Use GitHub Actions to run an ephemeral-schema test matrix. Maintenance/flexibility: I’ll set review rules, own the test-suite roadmap, and stay hands-on in reviews while your dev implements fixes. Deliverables include a runbook and measurable CI quality gates so future changes remain safe. Similar work: I led ProgramPro (SaaS coaching engine) and Tax Plan Hero; on ProgramPro I diagnosed Celery tasks losing tenant context in production—fix was carrying tenant id in the task signature, wrapping task execution in tenant_context, and adding concurrent-tenant integration tests; that fix held under load. Rate & availability: 50 AUD/hr, available 15–25 hrs/week, can start immediately. Would you share one representative failing ticket (or a failing CI job) so I can scope the audit precisely?

As a full-stack software developer with over a decade of experience, I'm confident I can provide the expert leadership your project demands. In terms of Django and React specifically, I've successfully architected and deployed several multi-tenant solutions throughout my career; one that stands out is a platform I built for a major healthcare provider. On that project, isolation and deployment posed significant challenges, which we overcame through meticulous planning, finely-tuned architecture, and thorough testing. These are skills I'm ready to bring to your team. Regarding the scope of my work on those projects, I played a dual role similar to what you're seeking: a hands-on developer who simultaneously led the team in strategic decision-making. This approach ensures not just high-level supervision but meaningful engagement at every step. If chosen to lead this project, you'll have the reassurance of knowing I'll be driving direction, reviewing implementation meticulously, and ensuring optimum outcomes.

Hi there I lead and ship Django + React SaaS products, and I can step in as your hands-on lead to own tickets, PR standards, and “patch vs rebuild” decisions while your existing developer focuses on implementation. Multi-tenant experience I’ve led a schema-per-tenant Django + React analytics SaaS using django-tenants with Celery and Redis, where I personally designed the tenant isolation, migrations, and async patterns. The hardest issue was background tasks occasionally running without a tenant context; the fix was a single enforced task base class that always receives and applies a tenant ID, plus integration tests that run flows across multiple schemas to prove isolation. Who does the architecture and reviews On that project I set up the architecture myself, then led a small team under strict PR and CI rules. In your case I would do all core reviews and architectural decisions personally (especially around the document engine and tenancy), not delegate them. Your current developer would implement tickets I write, and nothing merges without passing tests and my review. Rate and availability Rate: 25 USD/hour Availability: 30–35 hours per week, with the ability to front-load more time in the first couple of weeks to get the document engine and process under control. If that sounds aligned, I’m happy to start with your current document-generation tickets and give you a concise written assessment before we commit longer term.

I’ve led and reviewed multi-tenant Django + React SaaS stacks in healthcare (e.g., a HIPAA-compliant document engine with 200+ tenants), so this is right in my wheelhouse. My approach: I’ll scope and review the scoped tickets, enforce merge discipline, validate tenant-isolation via django-tenants schema splits, and stress-test the Celery queue for doc-gen tasks—parallel runs to catch race conditions. I’ll focus on correctness: unit tests for the engine, PostgreSQL advisory locks for tenant writes, and React memoization to avoid re-renders on data changes. You’ll get a patch/rebuild call backed by profiling and logs. I can start immediately.

Hello There, This role aligns well with my experience leading SaaS development through architecture reviews, ticket scoping, PR reviews, and release management. => I've worked on multi-tenant SaaS platforms with tenant-specific data isolation, workflow automation, reporting, and role-based permissions. One key challenge was ensuring complete tenant isolation across APIs, background jobs, and reporting systems while maintaining performance and scalability. => I personally handle architecture decisions, code reviews, ticket planning, and technical direction. I am an individual developer, not an agency, and I do not delegate reviews. => Availability: 30–40+ hours/week => Hourly Rate: Flexible depending on engagement scope. What interests me most is helping establish strong engineering discipline around correctness, testing, code quality, and long-term maintainability for a healthcare SaaS platform. Happy to discuss the current architecture and the scoped document-generation tickets. Thanks!

Hi, I read the posting carefully. The role makes sense: you already have the product and an implementation developer, so what you need is senior engineering judgement, clean ticketing, review discipline, and evidence-based decisions around patch versus rebuild. On multi-tenant SaaS work, the hardest isolation issues I’ve handled were around shared application logic with tenant-specific database boundaries, background jobs, and file/report generation. The main problems were preventing cross-tenant data leakage in async tasks and making sure tenant context was enforced consistently across API requests, Celery-style jobs, and generated documents. The fix that held was explicit tenant context propagation, tenant-aware query boundaries, stricter service-layer checks, and review rules that blocked any unscoped data access. That architecture and review work would be handled by me personally, not delegated. I would review tickets, PRs, schema changes, tenant access patterns, document-generation logic, and deployment risks directly. For your first engagement, I would start with the existing document-generation tickets, confirm expected outputs, define acceptance criteria, review the implementation path, and keep the board disciplined so the current developer can move quickly without weakening correctness.
