Employee Workflow PowerApp Build

Build a Canvas PowerApp backed by Dataverse that streamlines our internal employee management and automates routine HR workflows. The app will live inside Microsoft 365 and must feel native to users already familiar with Teams and SharePoint. Scope The solution should let HR staff create and update employee records, track status changes, store supporting documents, and trigger approval routes for events such as onboarding, role changes and exits. Each stage needs automatic notifications, escalation rules, and a clear audit trail, all driven by Power Automate flows connected to the app. Role-based security in Dataverse must ensure managers see only their teams while HR keeps full oversight. A simple dashboard showing pending tasks and key metrics rounds it out. Deliverables • Dataverse tables, relationships and security roles • Canvas app (responsive) covering employee profile screens, workflow screens and dashboards • Power Automate flows for approvals, notifications and escalations • Brief admin guide explaining table structure, environment variables and how to extend the solution Acceptance The app should install into our tenant, pass a test script covering record creation, update, deletion, approval routing and notification delivery, and operate with zero premium connectors beyond Dataverse.
