Message me so I can show you that sample. - Question: Please confirm your design basis: feedstock type/composition (NG analysis, sulfur ppm), target NH3 capacity (MTPD), steam-to-carbon ratio, primary/secondary reformer outlet T/P, process air compressor discharge pressure/flow and available head, shift layout (HT/LT) and COx slip limits to methanator, CO2 removal technology (Benfield/MDEA/Selexol) and specs, synthesis loop pressure/temperature and catalyst, purge/inerts target and whether H2 recovery from purge is required, and NH3 condensation refrigeration level. - Suggestion: I’ll build a rigorous HYSYS model with approach-to-equilibrium reforming and kinetic methanation, polytropic compressor trains with anti-surge maps, and a design-spec that auto-trims process air to simultaneously supply O2 for secondary reforming and N2 to achieve 1:3 N2:H2 at loop make-up. CO2 removal will use the appropriate amine/electrolyte package, with heat-integration (WHB + HP/MP/LP steam network) and pinch targeting. I’ll run sensitivities on S/C, loop pressure, purge rate, and intercooling to minimize energy per ton NH3 and compressor power, with an option for dynamic validation of compressor-trip and loop controls.
