Hi, A signature weekender shouldn’t start with pockets and zippers — it should start with the travel experience you want the user to have. I’d first map the key travel scenarios: what she carries, what needs instant access, what should stay separated, how the bag behaves while packing, carrying and placing it on luggage. From there, we can develop the functional architecture first, then build a distinctive form and visual identity around it. I’m Bharath, an Industrial Designer with a Master’s in Design, with a background in automotive and consumer-product design. My approach combines user experience, functionality, form development, ergonomics, CMF and manufacturing thinking. Since you already have sketches, I wouldn’t simply redraw them. I’d work with you to challenge, refine and develop the concept through: User needs → functional architecture → sketch exploration → signature design language → materials/CMF → detailed product development I also like that you're thinking beyond one bag. I’d develop the weekender with a recognisable design DNA—details, proportions, material transitions, hardware language and functional elements that can later evolve naturally into luggage, laptop bags, organisers and accessories.
