I am an English teacher with a Master of Applied Linguistics. In my daily work, I am accustomed to thoroughly proofreading students' work and assisting them with correcting grammar, spelling and fluency. Holding a Master's Degree, I am able to say that my level of writing is high, as I achieved a majority of distinction and high distinction grades for this degree. I have completed the Level 2 US English exam with 100% accuracy, indicating that despite being an Australian, I can easily adapt to editing in US English. The fact that I live in Australia may in fact work to your advantage, in that I am about 12 hours or so ahead of US time zones, meaning that anything I finish before the end of my day will be done by lunch time in your time zone. I can begin this proofreading project either tonight or tomorrow if you hire me immediately, and will average 3 hours per week to get this done (give or take depending on the out-of-hours tasks I need to complete for my daytime teaching job). Keep in mind that right now where I am, it is 10am in Central Australian Time on the 1st of May. I may have the project completed in less than 30 days depending on how well it is written to begin with, and the word count of the original text.
