Suddenly, his large clumsy paws tripped over a loose garden hose. Whoops-a-daisy! Barnaby tumbled head-first right into the deep basket. Swoosh! Zap! Flop! "Ruff-oh?" BARNABY whimpered. He tried to walk, but his back legs went left and his front legs went right. Boing! He rolled onto his back like a big furry turtle. Just then, a kind little girl named Mia looked over the wooden fence. She saw a funny polka-dot ball rolling in the green grass. "Look, a silly clown dog!" Mia giggled. BARNABY felt happy inside. It was fine to look silly if it made a new friend smile! But he still needed to get out of the suit. He rolled over and gave a mighty, cheerful wiggle. Wiggle, waggle, squish! Mia walked right through the gate. "Let me help you, silly doggy," she said gently. She carefully unzipped the back of the costume. BARNABY gave one final, super-duper shake. Pop! He shot out of the jumpsuit like a furry rocket, landing softly on his favorite clover patch.
