As Able grows and develops, having access to varied and specialized talent and, equally as necessary, flexibility around when said talent would be available has made us consider building a network of freelancers and companies who’d be able to complement our staff and put us in a better position to engage, secure and grow existing and new partnerships.
Our ideal candidate
Have profound experience on our current stack, or in lieu of that, provide something unique we may not have on our internal staffing (i.e., experience with machine-learning, building watchOS apps, implementing image recognition software, et al.; or expertise on some particular technologies, such as Elixir, Rust, Go, C++, etc.)
Be responsible, committed, and autonomous, being able to interact as part of a team, as well as take ownership and initiative of what they’d be doing. We look for professionals that love their work and can’t wait to support others, not just people who only want to do what they are told and call it a day.
Be able to discuss, meet and solve questions alongside teammates at least 3 hours every day, either on an ongoing basis or at said periods. They could also opt to work in a different timezone at their own pace but commit to connect and coordinate with our teams continuously and as needed.
Be comfortable working on ambiguous terms. We look for someone to augment our team, and we’d like to welcome them to our process. Either at the early stages of the project definition or at later times when more things are settled. Flexibility is key.
Willing to learn and be part not only of a single project but potentially others. Once they join our Network, they’d be invited to remain there, as long as they want to and we feel comfortable with.
Availability: This position is 100% remote. We are looking for talent who can commit to at least 3 hours of overlap with our main team’s office working hours in Lima-Perú (From 09:00 am to 06:00 pm GMT-5)
