As of this moment, I currently have an OLED that is linked to an RPI Zero. It projects the program within the RPI onto the lens. The program is written in Python; however, the overall design is too bulky. I'm looking for someone who has experience in PCBs, hardware design, programming - both the PCB and android app.
I'm looking for someone who has in-depth knowledge of smartglasses who can build the glasses with integrated PCBs to run that sole Python script. The general idea is to project over both lenses rather than just the one which means the hardware can be modified to suit the purpose of the project.
Bluetooth connectivity to phone (the app will be on the phone).
.srt file subtitle is correctly displayed on OLED.
Select .srt file
Transmit .srt file from phone to Raspberry Pi via Bluetooth.
[Test] Pressing Play/Pause on phone will play/pause the .srt file playback.
[Test] Pressing "speed up" or "speed down" will offset the "synchronisation" of the subtitles by either +/- 5ms with each input.
For those applying to the project, please ensure you attach your experience in both the hardware and programming field. Preferably, you have full experience in designing and developing smart glasses.
The deadline for this project is one month.
