To integrate stats from our body sensor system into an already built golf avatar to display a moving avatar that emulates the golfer's swing. The avatar needs to respond and emulate to the stats we have available from our sensor system. These stats are Left hand, Hip and Spine orientation at each point in the swing. The orientation refers to at what angle each body part is facing at each part in the swing. We also measure the weight on left and right foot throughout the swing. Our existing avatar is engineered to the movement of a real golfer and relationships between the limbs has already been defined. Hello, I am interested in your project, I used Blender a lot in the past, I am quiet familiar with the python API, so I think its kind of an easy project to develop. I have some doubts tho: - Source of the data: The position of each bone by time is stored on a file, or comes from another program with some serial communication in real time? - The interface: Do you want to use the Blender user interface ( Create custom panels, and display the animations within the program ) or display everything using the Game Engine ? I'm very dedicated and enthusiastic about any project I take on especially if it's a combination of games and also electronics, but reading more about blender`s automation capabilities with python from motion sensors really got me intrigued in developing such a application. The price can be changed depending on the hardware I need to purchase on my end at least a sample of the type of sensors you are using and or/also the type of data/format being sent from them to the PC directly from a control unit or independently from each sensor.
