We need help with a Python server issue; this would be a paid contract with a flexible timeframe; depending on how the prototype progresses into a potentially large project. Basically I've written a Python version of a Jython application we have, and it runs twice as fast at a command line.. but no faster when used via Flask or other servers I've tried. If it can run at close to the same speed on a server as it does via command line, this could be a game-changer for our company (the app is now run on 10 servers.. and growing). We're flexible about the type of server software/architecture needed to get this working at maximum efficiency.

Intriguing that your Python app seems slower in Flask, etc. and faster in the >>> prompt. You compared them on the same machine of course? I've designed, written, deployed and tuned network servers for decades. $123 USD - Find and fix server bottleneck. I'm at MIT near Boston today, so EDT = UTC−04:00 time zone.
