AI object detection and segmentation for crime scene

Hello, can you help me with my project and how I should implement it? I have a major project to do and develop AI-based object detection for crime scene evidence analysis. we are supposed to implement using Keras/Tensorflow object detection using YOLOv3 and segmentation using U-NET. then we will have to develop an desktop app or interface where we can choose a file with crime scene images to detect the objects in them and save them in another file. I have already created trained YOLOv3 weights for different weapons but its not that good. I don't know where to go from here can you help?
