Take the provided data ([url removed, login to view]) and write a Python script to be ran in ArcGIS that will calculate the stockpile volume. The data is Trimble GPS shots in that read number, northing, easting, elevation, code (ei. 1000, [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view], SP1). The codes indicate the location of the shot (SP is a base perimeter shot and OG is a shot on top of the pile) while the number associated with each code is the pile number. Therefore, pile 1 consists of SP1 base shots and OG1 fill shots, pile 2 consists of SP2 base shots and OG2 fill shots. Currently volumes are done by creating a TIN in an AutoCad based program. I would like a script to run in ArcGIS that could do this more seamless. I will provide data and the volumes create by AutoCad as a comparison.
