UiPath automation w/ python

We have a Java application that runs in Windows. This needs automation and output and processing through CSVs. The application only runs in a VPN environment and on particular computer (my laptop). On this laptop we also have UiPath community edition. This project can largely only be done through remote access through a Skype for Business call (although some of the logic can be written elsewhere of course). Probably some of the logic is best done with python in combination with UiPath. There are two parts to this project: A) Create object tree, output to CSV B) Get additional information from selection from object tree from CSV from step A, output to CSV The required CSV output from A will have columns Name Selected (always FALSE) Depth (between 1 and 4, apparently) Parent1 name Parent2 name Parent3 name To do A we need to automate the following: 1) Double click relevant icon on desktop, wait 2) Double click "Unit" in Navigation Menu 3) In Unit click "Expand all knots" button 4) Screen scrape knot contents from Unit and create tree based on depth, output to CSV (Depth can be inferred from the amount of spaces from the screen scrape) Through some process outside the scope of this project we set some to Selected=TRUE B will be as follows: So you will need to intelligently click on the correct item in the tree (and possibly scroll towards it). Probably by collapsing the tree and then expanding sequentially on the correct item. In the tree there can be three different types of objects: Folder, location, or device. In case the CSV line item has Selected=TRUE then we want the 7 or 10 data columns, depending on whether it is location or device. These can be found by clicking on "Master Data" and then "Common", at least the first time. If it is a folder then there will be a different type of screen shown that we can ignore. Here the CSV output will be the input from A and then 17 additional columns on the right thereof, filled depending on input from the scrape.
