Hi I can do wine quality prediction .I've done wine quality prediction using regression, knn, kmeans,random forest algorithms previously. It'll take time to do the work as do training test split for both methods for measuring accuracy to find a good method. Hello, I know pretty much about statistical modeling and prediction using the R programing language. In using large scale datasets you need a statistical method which allows you to deal with colinearity of predictor. The PLS method (used originaly in chemometrics) is a versatile tool to deal with this problem. As a result you do not have to chose the best variables instead, you keep all the information from your predictors. It is also possible to use other methods such as neural network or support vector machine, to capture non linear associations. However the latter methods make it difficult to interpret the results and therfore to answer the simple question what are my best predictors. I have a PhD in biostatistics and work for 15 years at University Paris 7, in the field of biostatistics and genomics reaserch (that can be seen as the prediction of health outcome with respect to genetic pharmacologic and environemental factors which implies thousands of variables (predictors). I also published 28 reasearch articles in pear review scientific journal. What would be the deadline for this project ? Best, Marc

I have a strong experience in R, data analysis and machine learning . My experience is mostly in medicine where I analyzed hundreds of data sets from GEO. I can use this knowledge in other fields like finances, etc. I can also implement several machine learning methods for both classification and regression. I will use Random Forest method on your data. The advantage is that this will give you a very stable model with no much difference in prediction between your training and testing data since Random Forest avoids over fitting.
