I need a matched transmitter-receiver pair built around a 200 kHz carrier that can cover at least 40 m in open air and recognise simple OOK (On-Off Keying) pulses reliably. The intended application is “Radio Frequency RF”, so there is no higher-level protocol to worry about; raw, clean carrier switching will do the job. Everything will be mounted and operated outdoors, so the design must tolerate ambient temperature swings, sunlight and occasional moisture without detuning or loss of sensitivity. Both TX and Rx are separate not transceiver and battery powered with minimum 2 days running time. What I am looking for • Circuit-level design of both the low-power transmitter and the super-regen/ super-het (designer’s choice) receiver, including complete schematics, PCB layouts and a concise Bill of Materials with part numbers that are actually in stock. • Component selection that keeps cost sensible while ensuring the 40 m range with small whip antennas (no dishes or large loops). • Firmware or microcontroller snippets, if any, that demonstrate clean OOK pulse generation on the TX side and pulse detection / decoding on the RX side (GPIO-level output is fine). • A short tuning and test guide so I can replicate your bench setup and verify range, sensitivity and stability at my end. Acceptance will be based on: 1. Verified 200 kHz carrier (±1 kHz) shown on a frequency counter or spectrum snapshot you provide. 2. Minimum 40 m line-of-sight operation outdoors with 0.1 ms–10 ms OOK pulses detected error-free. 3. All design files delivered in native formats (KiCad preferred, Gerber/STEP acceptable) plus a brief build log. If you have prior low-frequency RF experience and can turn around a repeatable design quickly, I’m ready to start right away and will be responsive to questions.

Can you explain why you need such a long wave as carrier signal ? Unless there is specific need this is an impractical choice to use 200KHz as carrier for OOK. Nowadays there are more efficient off the shelf parts available to do just that. More practical aproac to transmit signals over 40 meter, more power efficient, more immune to noise as well as antenna would become small. receiving side of this 200KHz carrier is not a problem, but to reliably transmit on this band needs atleast a loop antenna for transmiter and this requires more energy for single bit transmission. would love to discuss in details.

I would be honored to develop this robust 200 kHz OOK system for you. With extensive experience in low-frequency RF design, I will deliver a high-stability transmitter and a high-sensitivity receiver (utilizing a discrete superheterodyne architecture for superior selectivity outdoors) capable of exceeding the 40 m range requirement using compact whip antennas. My solution focuses on thermal stability by utilizing C0G/NP0 capacitors and a precision crystal-based or MEMS oscillator to ensure the carrier remains within the $\pm 1 \text{ kHz}$ tolerance despite sunlight or temperature swings. I will provide a comprehensive package including KiCad design files, a BOM with active stock from major distributors, and lightweight MCU snippets for pulse handling, all while optimizing power consumption to guarantee a 48-hour battery runtime. I can provide spectrum snapshots and range verification logs immediately upon prototype completion to ensure a quick and successful project hand-off.
