React Native Setup Assistance

I have an open-source React Native mobile application that I’d like to spin up locally for ongoing development and customization. The codebase was built with Expo and targets Android; my goal is to get it compiling in Android Studio, running on an emulator / physical device, and ready for feature work. Scope of work • Walk me through a remote installation session (Zoom or similar) to configure Expo CLI, Android Studio, and all required SDKs. • Resolve any dependency conflicts so the project launches without red-box errors. • Configure and demonstrate push notifications integration (Expo Notifications or FCM), verifying that a test notification reaches the device. • Leave me with clear notes or a short README covering the steps we took, environment variables used, and commands to run the project in the future. Acceptance criteria – The app builds and runs from Android Studio and via expo start without warnings. – A sample push notification is received on the emulator or connected phone. – Documentation is provided so I can reproduce the setup on another machine. I can share the GitHub repository and current environment details as soon as we schedule the session.
