I am putting in 2-4 x web/mail/dns servers on 1 U rackmount machines.
They must run the following
Redhat Linux 7.3
Apache Web Server
SMTP and POP3 and List Mail servers including SSL encryption (I suggest sendmail, qpopper, and majordomo)
DNS (I suggest bind)
PHP
JSP
MySQL
SSL (I suggest [login to view URL])
Redhat 7.3 is already installed on the machines by default, but I am not sure what other software is included in the installation.
We need a linux guru to ensure all of these services are running over these two-four machines.
If possible I also want them to be hardware and software redundant, so if one machine fails in any way, the other automatically takes over, so they need to be mirroring each other's software services and data.
We do have a cisco router to take care of load balancing in front of these machines.
I also need a simple way to administer these machines from a web hosting perspective using software like PSA 5 from plesk.com. If there is free web based admin software that can do what PSA 5 can, I would like to use it, otherwise we will consider buying PSA 5.
Security is a big issue as well as these will be shared web hosting and mail servers, running many sites, so they need to be locked down tight.
We do not have much of a budget for all of this and I need the right person to do it, so my question is can you implement the above well at a good rate? If so when can you do it?
