During my working career my role involved developing and delivering presentation, workshops based around digital fabrication methods, including 3D printing/Additive Manufacture to industries/businesses/students/lectures. Each presentation would be bespoke depending upon the client need. The application of the process would be tailored to promote their interests. I have used a 3D scanners, where I scanned parts during workshops, printed and finsihed parts.
My dissertation was also based on additive manufacture, where I read extensively about each 3D printing process, reviewing standards and post processing and carried out testing on FDM parts. To conclude my research I had to give a presentation on my work.
With regards to this project, I would first look at your audience, specify their needs. But a presentation would have the following:
*learning outcome
*description of the standard 7 printing processes (detail would depend on needs), including materials available
*outline of top selling processes for industry/businesses
*steps of printing (modelling tactics/printing/post processing)
*applications of each process, including current case studies
*advantages/disadvantages
*3D printing within Industry 4.0
* Conclusion
These are my initial thoughts but it would depend on you and your clients needs. If you have any questions do not hesitate to ask.
Many Thanks
