MA Home Second-Floor Permit Drawings

I already have completed a finished first-floor plan and a structural engineer on board for my new custom residence in Massachusetts. The missing piece is a permit-ready architectural package for the second-floor addition and its coordinated roof. I will send CAD and designs. Here is the scope I need completed: • Design a modern second-floor layout that ties cleanly into the existing first-floor plan. • Develop a pitched roof solution and update all exterior elevations so the massing reads coherently from every side. • Be open to revisiting and modifying the basement and first-floor plans if it improves the overall design. • When done, coordinate with my structural engineer, incorporating their framing notes and details in the architectural sheets. (A previous completed design had already gone to engineer review). • Produce a full permit set in Revit and deliver a locked PDF ready for submission to the local building department. I will share the current Revit model, DWGs, surveys, and any other background files the moment we start. Local code familiarity is a plus, but accurate, well-detailed drawings are the priority. When you respond, please include past work that shows residential additions or new builds completed in Revit—especially projects that made it through permitting without major redlines. The end goal is straightforward: a clear, coordinated drawing package that can go straight to the counter.
