Chinese web expertise for internet behavior study

(Not exactly a scraping project, but quite suitable for people with similar skills: Anyone proficient enough in English and the internet, and residing in China) ****SEE NOTE AT END*** I am researching how the Chinese Internet differs from the American Internet. In particular, I'm researching differences in aggression and sex/romance. I am looking for help finding and explaining different Chinese web sites that might be useful for my research. This project will pay at an hourly rate, with between 20 and 40 hours of work spread out over three months. Here's how the project will work: 1. I will ask you about a particular aspect of the Chinese Internet -- for example, about the human flesh search engine. 2. You will locate some Chinese websites that address this issue. 3. You will give me links to these websites, and then you will explain what is on these websites, and also give me your interpretation -- for example, how widespread is the human flesh search engine? What kind of people participate? What kind of people are usually targeted by the human flesh search engine? Thus, it is essential that you can translate Chinese into English, and it is essential that you are familiar enough with the Chinese Internet that you can provide useful interpretations of different issues on the Chinese Internet. I will ask you for help with different issues relating to aggression (such as flaming on Chinese websites) and sex (such as pornography, dating sites, and romantic chat sites). ****NOTE**** Please include a short paragraph about your familiarity with the Chinese website -- and INCLUDE A RECENT EXAMPLE OF THE HUMAN FLESH SEARCH ENGINE IN ACTION , with a brief discussion, so that I can evaluate whether you are right for this project. YOU WILL BE CHOSEN BASED UPON HOW INSIGHTFUL AND USEFUL YOUR INTERPRETATION IS.
