Our company is considering expanding our business to offer phone and television billing for hospitals in Canada. We are looking for the following information primarily for Ontario and Quebec.
Number of hospitals by size. The following scale is just a guide. If there is a different breakdown that makes more sense, we are flexible.
< 60 beds
60 - 100 beds
101 - 150 beds
151 - 250 beds
Some of the questions we would like to have answered are:
* How many hospitals offer free telephone service?
* How many hospitals offer free television service?
* How many hospital have newer televisions (within last 5-10 years)
* Is high speed internet available at most hospitals? If not available to patients, is it available in the area of the hospital?
We are also very open to any other information that might be helpful to us in analyzing this direction. Some people have said that nobody in Canada pays for phone and television service while they are in the hospital. Other people have said that every hospital bills patients for television service.
While an spreadsheet of the data would be helpful, we are really looking for more of an assessment of the current state of television and telephone services available to patients in Ontario and Quebec.
