Program 2 - Program for musculoskeletal injury, eg hamstring tear. Length of program varies on your choice of injury. This program will address literature surrounding current exercise prescription and programming requirements for each phase of the chosen injury. Again, an overview on the chosen length of program is required specifying phases, monitoring cycles, weekly volumes and loads etc. 8 distinct training sessions from this program to be included.
Program 3 - 1 year program for a healthy athlete of choice. must include an overall macrocycle outlining the training phases (mesocycles), weekly volumes/loads, competition and athletic testing days, monitoring cycles, satellite sessions, and ‘weeks away’ (sport dependent). You will be required to design 12 distinct training sessions from this program to include in your portfolio
Task sheets will be provided upon commencement of job, along with the marking rubric for your reference. The winner of this job will possess knowledge of exercise science, exercise programming and human physical development. Thorough knowledge of training cycles, loads and intensities, periodization and current exercise prescription techniques.
