New Business Organization Project

Describe the various forms of business organizations by comparing and contrasting them. Consider the advantages and disadvantages of each type of business organization, and how it will fit into your proposed new business. Begin preparing a business plan for a new business that you are planning to start. The focus for this portion of your business proposal will be deciding your business organizational form. Research your state’s requirements for starting a business. Include all the requirements in your proposal for your form of business organization – i.e. sole proprietorship, partnership, and corporation. Keep in mind there are various forms for a corporation such as, S-Corp (limited to 100 investors), C-Corp (unlimited investors), and Not-for-Profit Corporation both tax-exempt, and taxable, trade organizations. States may also limit the form of business based on professional services typical for licensed attorneys, licensed CPAs, and others.
