I was assigned a task to write a Furlough communication memo from the CEO to all company employees.
2019 is still a tough year on Saudi Readymix; the construction market is still in recession, which means that our projected revenues are not covering good margins to our expenses. Management decided they do not want to do any more layoffs. Therefore, they will be placing staff employees and above on mandatory unpaid between (May2019-Aug2019) for two weeks.
Our company CEO cares about the moral of the employees, and he is always determined to communicate in a respectful manner that does not cause panic to any employee. He would like to deliver an emphatic tone message that is comforting to all, asking for help and staying together through difficult times. CEO does not want to mention the part about layoffs in his communication.
