Looking for daily help finding news and blog articles that can be promoted on my social media pages. The ideal candidate for this job would be knowledgeable about IT-related topics and preferably have some experience using twitter, or at least understand the concept. I need someone that can send me a daily roundup of about a dozen relevant articles from various sources, a tweetable phrase that encompasses each article, and source/author's twitter handle. I would be happy to share some of my favorite sources as well as a list of relatent topics.
My audience/twitter follwing mostly comprises of leaders in the tech industry (CIOs, senior IT executives, consultants, and academicians) so when I am looking for strong content the things I am asking myself are "is this article something that can help my followers become better at their jobs?", and "would they be interested enough to click on the link?" I like to post a mixture of technical related articles, leadership-focused articles, and expecially articles that combine the two (leadership in tech industries).
Of course you will have a chance to check out my social media pages to get an idea as to the types of content that I am posting now. I estimate that this job would take 8-12 hours a week, but it depends on how fast you are able to search/find good material, assess it, and then construct a 140 character tweet-able phrase based on the article. I must say that I really enjoy doing this myself, but am becoming short on time and must focus on other things. I'm not exactly sure how long this job will last...thinking through the end of this year and potentially extending into next year....and who knows. Reach out to me if this sounds interesting to you and please tell me a little bit about yourself. Thank you!
